Hugh Dunford Wood
Hugh's career as an artist/designer ranges from early years as a landscape/portrait painter, a successful men's fashion business painting unique waistcoats and ties, to hand printed textiles and wall coverings.

Peaceable Kingdom is Hugh's ongoing series of stylised linocuts of British wildlife, hand printed by Emily Gladstone on organic linen and made into feather cushions by a local seamstress.

In addition to work as a visiting OU Tutor, Artist in Residence at the Globe Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Hugh has run art courses as a volunteer at The Passage night shelter for London's homeless, detainees at Campsfield Removal Centre, and several prisons including HMP Belmarsh. For Dorset Arts Weeks he is curator of the National Gallery of Lyme Regis.
