Kate's description of herself is 'a printmaker who loves to cook' says it in a nutshell. Behind these few words lies her training in graphic design, a career in animation, art teaching and printmaking. Equally at home in London and Southern France, she cuts strong graphic images into lino blocks, each one depicting an ingredient to add to her store cupboard for the classic dishes she illustrates in her prints. Accompanied by recipes, hand coloured, printed on organic cotton.

Kate's kitchen linens include tea towels, oven gloves and aprons. It is no surprise that her enjoyment of food and cooking and culinary delights are the principle subject of her work.
