Robyn Hardyman
Robyn's wheel thrown vessels owe much to her to love of the traditional forms of thrown oriental porcelain vessels. Simple shapes splayed from a narrow base are unadorned or given minimal trails of self coloured soft textures applied to the surface. Gleaming pale glazes add a further deceptive sense of fragility to thinly thrown functional objects intended to be handled in daily use.
